  1. Tower of London and visit Buckingham Palace. Big ben and go on the big eye...there is alot of history in London...take a tour of where Jack the Ripper killed and dumped his victims!
  2. Great cities! There is SOOOOOO much to do in all of them, and I really don't know what kind of things you are into, but I will give you my opinion none the less. That's what we come to Yahooanswers for anyway right!? London- It's all about the history and castles here! You have to see the Tower of London and take the full tour, there are so many creepy, yet cool things to see here that it is well worth it, and you see the crown jewels. Check out the Parliament building, Westminster Abbey, and Trafalgar Square as well. You could spend a week in London and not see everything...but in my opinion those are the Empire State building and Statue of Liberties of New York City. Paris- Ok, obvious is the Eifel tower...if you came home and didn't see it, people would laugh at you. Also spend some great time in the museums there. The Louver is INCREDIBLE. Check out Notre Dame, Arc de Triumph, and a must is Versailles. It's a little out of the city, but well worth the time. If you have a day to take a trip to Normandy, I would recommend it as well. Very amazing place, and only like a 3 hour train ride from Paris. The best part of Paris is just wandering around and soaking it in though. Rome- Please tell me you are spending most of your time here. By far my favorite place. It has everything!!! Ok, I'm just going to list stuff, you can Google it or check it out...but there is too much to be descriptive. Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Forum, Vatican City, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museum, Circo Massimo, Borghese, and TONS of churches. Personally, I'm into religion, so I like seeing churches, mosques and synagogues. Check out www.sacred-destinations.com if that stuff interests you too, great site...not too churchy. If you have time, take some day trips to Naples, and maybe Pisa too. Berlin- Great city, again TONS to do...go see the Museums here. They have some of the best collections of peices from all over the world. I also enjoy taking tours that show sites from WWII. Zurich, I can't help you with...I've never been. Sorry, but I hear it is beautiful. Amsterdam- In terms of sights, I don't like a whole lot here...to me it was more about the atmosphere and just chilling. Go see Anne Frank's house, and get a glimpse of the red light district. Rent some bike and just cruise around. Beautiful place and very friendly people. And Brussels- Again, not SUPER heavy in sights or museums, but take a visit to some chocolate shops, visit the canals and hang out in some cafes. They have some beautiful churches in Brussels as well, I'll refer you back to that site I said earlier. The truth is, everyone really likes different things. I don't drink, so the night life isn't as important to me as it is to others. Just try to hit the main big things, you know the ones where people want to see a picture of you standing in front of it, and then just go with the flow. Traveling out of the US is more about experiencing different people and cultures then it is about seeing stuff. OH, big thing!!! Ask a TON of questions to those who are at the hostels. They will ALWAYS have cheap great ideas of things to do and places to see. Good Luck, and have fun.
